Killarney Athletic 5 Fenit 2
Despite the score this was a lot closer than the scoreline suggests. Both sides played some great football with Athletic being the more clinical. The home side passed the ball well and got forward at every opportunity. Scorers for Athletic were Ronan Murphy 2, Cian O’Neill, Connor McGill and Ryan O’Carroll

Athletic under 15 were away to the Park on Saturday the 29th January, 2011 and came away with a 5 – 2 victory. Went 1 down within five minutes when Park scored from a free. Leveled three minutes later from a free by Daniel O'Sullivan and went 1 up five minutes later when Conor Murphy was on hand to chip in from close range. Score remained the same until half time. Ten minutes into second half went 3 – 1 up when Jason Brennan volleyed home from a corner. Two minutes later we added another through Quintin Breen. On twentieth minute mark Denis O'Sullivan put away our fifth and final goal. Athletic were in control but conceded a penalty three minutes from the end which was saved by Goal Keeper Stephen Griffin but Park managed to put away the rebound. Our under 13 b team travelled to Tralee last Saturday to play Kingdom boys and were beaten by a 2-1 scoreline. While Athletic enjoyed long passages of possession we found it difficult to convert our chances. David Hartnett scored our goal. Best on the day for Athletic were the outstanding Brian Fitzgerald, Ryan Sweeney and Eric O’Donoghue.
