Medal for Moloney! Notts County were crowned League Two champions after defeating Cheltenham 5-0 and Brendan Moloney is in the lucky position of being eligible for a league winners’ medal. The 21-year-old right-back spent four months on loan at Meadow Lane at the start of this season and made 18 league starts. He also scored a great goal on his debut for the Magpies in a 5-0 home win against Bradford City on the opening day of the season. The Republic of Ireland U21 international left Notts when his short-term loan deal expired at the start of January. The Magpies were unable to extend it because they were under a transfer embargo due to their financial difficulties. The club would like to congratulate Brendan on a very dynamic, successful season despite sustaining an unfortunate injury. The very best of luck from all at the club for next season!
