The side that defeated our town rivals Killarney Celtic in the Premier Division League decider three weeks ago replaced our neighbours as reigning KO Cup champions with a victory over Micthels Avenue in Mounthawk Park.
The victory is only our second time winning the cup and ends a 13 year wait for Greyhound Bar success, and secures our first ever league and cup double .
Sean Cournane opened the scoring for the league champions after 18 minutes before Shane Lynch put two between the sides on 30 minutes.
Another Shane, this time Shane Doolan then made all but sure of the result as he extended the cushion to three late in the second half.
So a brilliant and historic season for our Senior A team has ended with a brilliant double and enforced their claim as Kerrys top team this season. Huge credit to all the players management and officers that got us all our success. COYBIB
